Hispanic Festival 2023

Dear Community and Sponsors,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 13th Annual Hispanic Festival in Harrisonburg, Virginia, on August 05, 2023, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Ralph Sampson Park. For over 13 years, the Hispanic Festival has been a platform for local and regional vendors and artists to showcase their talents, cultural and ethnic traditions, food, music, and art, thanks to our community partners' sponsorship and support. This year's event promises to be no exception.

At the Hispanic Festival, you can expect a wide range of activities for the whole family, including live bands playing everything from Bachata and Tropical Music to Regional Mexica and Huapango, as well as the traditional "Chanchona" music from El Salvador. Additionally, there will be a Futsal tournament for adults and our youth, artisan displays and sales, traditional foods, delicious treats, and employers ready to hire.

As a community, we are committed to taking care of each other, and your sponsorship is crucial to creating and maintaining a community that we can all be proud of. By supporting the Hispanic Festival, you will help provide a venue for Valley families to come together, celebrate life, and serve as a cultural bridge to unite our community, learn from each other, and live in harmony.

The mission of the Hispanic Festival is to celebrate the Hispanic heritage and promote diversity and inclusiveness in our community. We are proud to be part of the efforts to promote Harrisonburg as a Welcoming City, and the Offices of Tourism and Parks & Recreation promote the Hispanic Festival as one of our city's summer tourist attractions. Over time, the Festival has grown to approximately 3,500+ attendees.
