Is a nonprofit organization nested in Harrisonburg VA. whose goal is to empower immigrant families through charity, support, and the advocacy of legislation changes that benefit immigrants.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to empower immigrant families through our help and support, leadership mentoring, cultural and civic education, and advocacy that benefit the immigrant community in Virginia and across the country.
OUR VISION
We envision a community where all immigrants can pursue their dreams and live with dignity, a place where they are recognized for their hard labor, success, and contributions to society and their communities.
WHAT WE DO
We work closely with multiple pro-immigrant organizations across the Commonwealth of Virginia, providing services that align with the inherent worth, dignity, respect, and equality of immigrants and all human beings.
WELCOMING IMMIGRANTS
We are nimble and responsive to what is happening on the ground. We look for the road not yet taken and pursue creative ideas to address complex social needs. Whatever obstacles are in our way, we persist. We break down barriers to create better opportunities for immigrant families.
While we focus on today’s difficulties many immigrants face, we also strive for solutions that will increase the success of immigrant families and opening up opportunities for future generations and the educational success of their children.
